Vanaways Appoints Rob Prideaux as Retail Sales Manager to support next phase of growth

Bristol, UK – At Vanaways, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Prideaux as our new Retail Sales Manager, strengthening our leadership team as the business accelerates its national growth strategy.

Based in Bristol, Rob will take responsibility for overseeing Vanaways’ retail sales function, with a clear focus on driving sales performance, improving conversion rates, and building a scalable, high-performing sales operation. His remit will also include the introduction of structured training and development programmes, alongside the upcoming recruitment drive for new Sales Executives to support increasing customer demand.

Rob brings more than 15 years’ experience in sales and sales leadership, with a strong track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams. His background spans multiple senior roles, including launching and growing new sales operations, and he is widely recognised for his people-first approach and performance-driven culture.

Reflecting on his new role, Robert shared:

“Vanaways is at a really exciting stage of growth. There’s a huge opportunity to build strong sales teams, put the right structures in place and create a culture where people are developed, motivated and rewarded for high performance.”

He added:

“My immediate focus is on strengthening the existing team while recruiting the right people to support increased demand. As the team grows, it’s vital that lead generation grows with it, so opportunity is never diluted and everyone is set up to succeed.”

 

 

Most recently, he led and developed sales teams across multiple roles, including launching and building a remote office operation from the ground up. His background in people development and performance-led culture is expected to play a central role in Vanaways’ next stage of expansion.

The appointment comes as Vanaways continues to invest heavily in technology and AI-driven solutions to enhance sales efficiency and customer experience. These investments are designed to deliver greater consistency, visibility, and productivity across the sales function, allowing teams to focus more time on customer engagement and value creation.

Rob’s leadership will support Vanaways’ wider strategic objectives by strengthening sales processes, increasing conversion rates, and driving higher profit per unit across the business.

Commenting on the appointment, Vanaways said it reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to investing in experienced leadership to support long-term growth, team development, and continued innovation within the commercial vehicle sector.
