Hand on a Van Challenge

Vanaways has released a new YouTube challenge that puts its team through an endurance test inspired by MrBeast’s famous “Last To Take Hand Off Lamborghini, Keeps It” video, but with a Vanaways twist.

The premise was deceptively simple: ten Vanaways employees stood beside one van with a single instruction, keep your hand on the vehicle for as long as possible. The last person still touching the van would be crowned the winner.

As the competition progressed, contestants were faced with a series of increasingly difficult distractions and temptations. Freezing water was introduced to test their resolve, cash offers were made to encourage players to quit early, and blindfolds and psychological mind games added an unexpected layer of strategy to the challenge. What looked easy in the opening minutes soon became a genuine battle of patience, concentration, and determination.

The result was hours of endurance, questionable tactics, plenty of laughs, and several contestants discovering that they were nowhere near as patient as they had originally believed. Alliances formed, confidence disappeared, and every elimination increased the pressure on the remaining competitors.

Beyond the competition itself, the video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the personalities within the Vanaways team. It captures the camaraderie, humour, and competitive spirit that sit at the heart of the company culture, showing a side of the business that customers do not usually get to see.

The challenge has already generated strong engagement across Vanaways’ social channels, with viewers debating who they thought would last the longest and whether they could have handled the same conditions themselves.

One question remains at the centre of the video: who had the determination to outlast everyone else, and who was the final person to let go of the van?

The full Hand on a Van Challenge is now available to watch on the Vanaways YouTube channel, where viewers can see every twist, temptation, and elimination unfold from start to finish.

"We cannot fault the service we have received from everyone we have dealt with at Vanaways and will definitely by contacting you again when we come to replace our next vehicle……. On the whole, Customer service, these days, I have found to be quite disappointing and frustrating – I wish more companies showed the care and attention to detail that you guys have shown… you have restored my faith in Vehicle sales teams!! I would not hesitate in recommending you and wish all of our suppliers were are easy to deal with as you have been!! Thankyou especially to Shina and Sophie...."
